Is Soforo safe to use?

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a non-governmental organization with the objective of promoting the growth and use of sustainable oil palm products that are socially and environmentally friendly.

Can I recycle the laundry bottles?

Yes, the bottles can be recycled. To recycle laundry detergent and softener bottles, remove the drain back and recycle the bottle and cap with number 2 materials.

How much detergent should I use for a load of laundry?

1 ounce. Our detergent is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Use the fill lines on the cap to measure out 1 oz.

What is the difference between softener and detergent? When should I use each?

Detergent removes the dirt while softener protects your clothes. Think of it like shampoo and conditioner and use both for the best treatment.

Why is my fabric softener being very thick?

If stored in colder environments such as a garage, basement, or outdoor laundry area, Happy Elephant Fabric Softener may naturally become thicker. Temperature changes can affect the consistency of the formula.

If you notice it has thickened, simply dilute it with a small amount of water until it returns to a pourable consistency before adding it to your washing machine’s fabric softener compartment. This helps ensure even distribution and prevents potential residue on fabrics.

For best results, store your bottle at room temperature and keep it tightly closed between uses.

How do I cancel or make changes to my order?

At this time, orders cannot be canceled or modified directly through your online account. If you need to make a change or cancel an order that was just placed, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible at info@happyelephant.com with your order number and request.

We are happy to assist with cancellations or changes as long as the order has not progressed too far into the fulfillment or shipping process. Once an order has entered advanced processing or shipped from our warehouse, we may no longer be able to cancel it — but our team will gladly review available options and help find the best solution.

How do I place an order without using the Shop App?

You are not required to use the Shop app or Shop Pay to purchase from our website. To ensure you check out directly with us, please follow these steps:

  1. Add items to your cart by clicking the red “Add to Cart” button.
  2. Proceed to checkout.
  3. At the checkout page, locate the three dots next to your email address.
  4. Select “Check out as guest.”
  5. Complete your purchase using a standard credit or debit card.

Choosing“Check out as guest” removes Shop from the checkout process.Important notes:

  • Shop Pay and the Shop app may appear as optional checkout choices, but they are not required.
  • Lakanto does not require customers to use the Shop app.
  • Your information is not stored in Shop unless you explicitly choose that option.

If you are still redirected to the Shop app after following these steps, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist.

What happens if my package is stolen?

We understand how annoying it is to have your package stolen! Unfortunately, it does happen. 

We use UPS and USPS because they ensure your packages will be delivered. However, the window between delivery and when you grab your package off the porch is a time when neither UPS, USPS nor Happy Elephant is responsible for the package.

In the unfortunate event that your package is lost or stolen, please contact our Customer Support Team at info@happyelephant.com and we will help you as much as we are able.

What happens if I accidentally provide the wrong address?

If you provide the wrong address, your product will be returned to our warehouse. Please reach out to our Customer Support Team at info@happyelephant.com. When the order is received by the warehouse, the products can be refunded 100% if it is received in whole condition and you can then reorder the product or we can send you a replacement order.

Happy Elephant’s No-Risk 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is simple. Any customer who has purchased from us or from one of our authorized sellers and is not completely satisfied with the product or purchase experience will receive a full product refund. To claim a refund, simply contact us within 45 days of receipt of product. Please keep in mind that refunds do not include shipping costs. Happy Elephant also reserves the right to verify information, require a valid proof of purchase, require the purchaser to submit photos of their product, require the purchaser to return the product at issue, and to deny Guarantee requests including its discretion in cases of suspected fraud or if customer has abused the Happy Elephant 45-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
