Happy Elephant Joins Fish for Garbage
We’re thrilled to announce that Happy Elephant is officially sponsoring and participating in our very first Fish for Garbage cleanup event on Friday, April 26th—and we’re showing up big. With a full team of volunteers and a bundle of our sustainable products donated to the raffle, we’re diving into this initiative headfirst (with reusable gloves, of course).
What Is Fish for Garbage?
Fish for Garbage is more than just a cleanup—it’s a community-powered movement to protect the waterways we all depend on. By bringing together volunteers, nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses, the organization hosts impactful cleanups across Utah, removing tons of trash from rivers, lakes, and streams while sparking conversations about environmental stewardship.
This year’s event includes:
- Hands-on waterway cleanup
- An opportunity drawing with sponsor-donated prizes (including us!)
- Educational outreach including their new Activity Book for Children
Why We’re In
At Happy Elephant, we believe a Happy Planet starts with clean water, conscious choices, and community care. Our eco-friendly laundry sheets are made with biodegradable ingredients that dissolve safely in waterways—because what goes down the drain doesn’t have to do harm.
Sponsoring Fish for Garbage was a natural fit. We’re proud to stand beside this mission of preservation, education, and action. Not only are we excited to donate products for the cause, but we’re sending a team of enthusiastic volunteers from our staff to get their hands (a little dirty) in service of a cleaner planet.
Making an Impact Together
Whether it's the rivers of Utah or the rainforests of Borneo, Happy Elephant is committed to doing more than just talking about sustainability—we live it, we support it, and we join forces with those who do the same.
This April, we’re proud to take our first steps with Fish for Garbage—and we can’t wait to make a difference, one piece of trash at a time.
